Like most UK manufacturers over the past year we could not be certain as to how Brexit would impact our work. However, over the summer we started to notice an uptake in enquires from UK customers looking for local suppliers.
As a UK company with customers at home and overseas we prepared for disruption in the run up to Brexit. Customers that may have previously sourced out the manufacture of their enclosures to European countries, instead were beginning to research options closer to home.
We’ve created industrial sound attenuated enclosures for high pressure (HP) and ultra high pressure (UHP) water jetting. These enclosures were built to house Tier 5 (Stage V) compliant diesel engines, and had to deal with the subsequent challenges of space and cooling that the additional technology required.
We’ve also been working with a start up company, who’ve created a new kind of metal additive manufacturing system. The system, will be able to offer increased flexibility, better metallurgy and stability. We have produced a number of purpose built technology cabinets to house this groundbreaking new system, which is due to be brought to market later this year.
We continue to offer a high quality powder coating service, through a consistent single line system. The robust electrostatic powder-coating is available in any brand colour and a multitude of finishes.
Over the past few months a huge variety of items have passed through the factory, as well as enclosures we’ve painted hundreds of coach seats and even a huge dragon!
