We‘re delighted to announce that our on-going commitment to the next generation of engineers has been recognised with a Swansea Bay Business Award for Apprenticeship Development.
We take delivery of homemade mince pies from our local STEM students, on the road to the finals of TeenTech City of Tomorrow – a national competition in London.
We want to support the engineers of the future – particularly in our own community – so we are working with our local secondary school to provide a bursary fund to facilitate some of their STEM activities.
Following the recent A-level results, the Institution of Engineering and Technology has issued a statement highlighting the decline in students taking engineering ‘gateway subjects’, such as maths, physics, design and technology, as being a threat to UK economic growth.
